Green Initiatives.

Going Green. It’s a movement that has been gaining momentum for years and has introduced reasons to preserve the planet to people of all generations. It's about being environmentally aware and doing our part to protect our beautiful planet Earth. At K.Tek Systems, we're doing our part to reduce paper and are only using two office printers. Having a LESS-paper environment means greater efficiency for us and in turn, more productivity for our clients. Moreover, it helps reduce costs, creates a noise-free office environment AND it's green! We believe in doing our part to protect the environment and feel that even the smallest effort made each day delivers lasting results. We’re committed to making our office Greener by reducing our environmental impact. To reduce the number of wasted plastic water bottles within our office, we’ve switched to a water delivery service which allows us to refill our reusable glasses rather than creating excess waste. These are just some of the small steps that we’re taking to make our world a better place.

Community Involvement.

Giving Back. We at K.Tek Systems feel extremely blessed to have the opportunity to improve the productivity and profitability of businesses every day. As active members of our “global” community, we also feel passionate about community involvement. K.Tek Systems CEO, Kimberly During, has both passion and compassion rooted in the actions of her prolific philanthropy, tireless community volunteer work and by holding multiple seats on community organizational Boards. To date, she’s funded over 35 non-profit organizations and has used her entrepreneurial spirit to establish three Foundations that focus on making an impact in Education, the Mental Health System, and the various transitional challenges of our Veterans. The During Foundation, which Kimberly founded, is amongst the many charitable organizations she’s involved with that have significantly worked to better the community. The During Foundation provided a $50,000 donation in student scholarships for the Blossom Montessori School of the Deaf to parlay the school’s financial need for educational funds. K.Tek Systems along with the During Foundation also worked with the Pinellas Education Foundation and the Stavros Institute to open a K.Tek Systems office at Enterprise Village, an educational program that teaches students the fundamentals of business, job skills, money management and giving back to their community. The students that visit the business center learn “real-world” business principles and by utilizing the custom-built Internet based Cloud Computing Application created by K.Tek Systems developers, the K.Tek Connect Internet Blog, students also learn the various ways technology works in conjunction with business. K.Tek Systems honors our community by giving back and feels fortunate to provide support to charitable organizations that share our zeal for making a difference in the lives of others.
